What do I get without paying?
Teams, players, ratings and availability, and the whole live match-day manager: the clock, interchange, position moves, injury withdrawal, quarter breaks, scores and the post-game summary. Game history is free. So is browsing every one of the 37 drills and strategies in the library, coaching notes included, and adding five of them to run.
What does the one purchase unlock?
Suggest Lineup and injury auto-fill, live rotation and freshness prompts, fairness pace flags, season stats, adding the rest of the library, and creating, duplicating and exporting your own plays. It is one payment, not a subscription, and Family Sharing is on, so a club committee can share one unlock.
I paid, but a new phone still shows padlocks.
Open Settings in the app, then tap Restore Purchase. That restores the purchase attached to your Apple Account, so make sure the device is signed in to the same account you bought with.
How do I move my squad to another phone, or give it to an assistant coach?
Settings, then the Data section, then tap your team to export it. That produces a .ccsquad file you can send however you like. Opening the file on the other device imports the squad. Plays export the same way as .ccplay files.
Does it work without reception?
Yes, all of it. Complete Coach has no account, no sign-in and no server, so nothing about a match day depends on a signal. That is the point: plenty of grounds do not have one.
My competition runs different quarters, or a different number on the field.
Each team carries its own rule set. Settings, then Formats, then the team, and change the on-field size, the positions, the quarter length or the fairness target. Changing a format never touches games you have already played.
The clock says TIME ON but our grade does not play time on.
That label means the quarter has run past its set length, which is when a junior game is normally already over. Check the quarter length for that team under Settings, then Formats.
A player got hurt mid-quarter.
Tap the player and withdraw them. Their spot opens up and the game keeps running, and their game time stops where it stopped. If you have the unlock, auto-fill will offer someone to cover the gap.
What happens if the app closes mid-game?
Reopen it and the game picks up exactly where it was, clock included. Nothing is lost by a crash, a flat battery or a phone call.
How do I start over?
Settings, then Reset All Data. It deletes every team, player, game and play on the device and cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first. Your purchase is not affected.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled entirely by Apple, not the developer. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Is this an official league app?
No. Complete Coach is an independent coaching tool for Australian rules football, not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any league, competition or governing body. The rule sets in it are configurable presets, not official specifications, so check them against your own competition's current rules.
